Ham radio for me is a religion. I practice it, dont mess with it and love it!!!Though the seed of desire to pursue ham radio was planted in me in the 1970s( I was in college then), I got my ticket in 1996, when I was a mother of 2 kids! I am now 56 years old, born in 1953.
I was part of the AT0BI, AT0RI and AT0AI, VU7LD island expeditions and hope to do many more.

Upgraded to my General license in 2010 and soon became K6YRU.
Upgraded to my Amateur Extra license in 2010.
Obtained my new callsign K6YL in February of 2011.
